U School of Music hosts Saturday watch party for end-of-year showcase
Music brings us together; and, in unprecedented times like these it’s important to
remember what bonds us.
This is why the University of Utah School of Music is celebrating the end of the year
with the first of its kind, a virtual Student Showcase to celebrate the class of 2020 and connect with our music community.
Students at the School of Music usually spend the final weeks of the semester performing
with their ensembles. But this year those performance opportunities were canceled
due to the pandemic. The 2020 Student Showcase is an effort to highlight their hard
work and celebrate their achievements. Each area will feature pieces reviewed and
selected by faculty, for one night of home, yet high quality, student performances.

(It will be available on YouTube after this time if you miss it.)
