Salt Lake City

Salt Lake is a vibrant and growing city. You will find the central part of the city easily accessible from the University of Utah via light rail (TRAX). If you are planning to arrive early or stay after the conference, outdoor recreational options abound--from the local trails of Millcreek Canyon, to the forested Uintas, and further south to the red rock of the majestic Zion.

The University of Utah

The University Guest House is approximately a twenty minute walk to the Marriott Library; and twenty-five to the School of Music (Gardner Hall), which is on Presidents Circle. The Guest House has a courtesy van; but, it is for general use. For attendees with limited mobility, we will have group transportation options to and from the conference and the Friday night dinner.

Luckily, the School of Music is located near a number of eateries that will be good options for the Friday lunch.

The Red line of the free university shuttle bus system runs between the University Guest House and the School of Music. A live tracker shows when buses are due to arrive or depart from each location on the route.
