Biography

Dr. Brian Woodbury is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has performed and recorded with several groups, including Erin Dickins, the Neon Trees, the Brad Leali Jazz Orchestra, the UNC Jazz Festival All-Stars, the Alex Heitlinger Big Band, the Drew Zaremba Fellowship, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes, and the University of North Texas One O’Clock Lab Band. Brian taught Jazz Trombone Fundamentals and directed the 5:00 and 9:00 Lab Bands at UNT, then taught Jazz History and worked as the Visiting Lecturer of Jazz Trombone at the University of Colorado Boulder.
