Offer supervised teaching opportunities to School of Music undergraduate and graduate
students in piano and strings area, including both group and private instruction.
Provide Teaching Assistantship positions for the piano area. TAs teach private piano
lessons, beginning piano lab, and musicianship classes for the division.
Provide comprehensive music training for students ages 6-18, as well as adults, through
a combination of private and class instruction, taught by U of U piano majors, graduate
assistants, and alumni.
Private music lessons and class instruction are offered to develop an enjoyment of
music, performance abilities, musicianship, and technique skills in the various instruments.
