Leroy Robertson Fellowship for Faculty and Students - Application


Given annually to support performances or scholarly work that expands knowledge and appreciation of the works of Leroy Robertson and his legacy. Student applicants must be full-time during the award semester or, if applying for summer, during the prior semester. Applicants may apply as a team; one team member must be a University of Utah faculty or student.

Application Deadline: October 30, 2018 for Fall 2018.

Include all expenses, although only the amount available will be awarded for support. (Files must be less than 2MB and have one of the following file extensions: doc, docx, rtf, txt, pdf)

Resume/CV should reflect your musical or scholarly studies and experience. (Files must be less than 2MB and have one of the following file extensions: doc, docx, rtf, txt, pdf)

From faculty member who is familiar with your performance capability or scholarly work. (Files must be less than 2MB and have one of the following file extensions: doc, docx, rtf, txt, pdf)

Applications will be selected by committee and award amounts made based on impact in keeping alive Robertson legacy as a composer. Suggested submissions may include, but not be limited to, performances of Robertson works by ensembles or students on recitals, recordings of his works, oral histories of students of Robertson, Robertson archival research for publication and/or presentation, and digital scholarship.
