CODA Conference
Podium. Passion. Pedagogy. These are the words that celebrate the collegiate conductor and best describe the upcoming College Directors Association National Conference, hosted by The University of Utah this January 14-16. Guest clinicians Diane Wittry and Henry Fogel will share with attendees their pedagogical expertise while providing priceless question and answer sessions. Performances by the University of Utah Philharmonia, under the direction of Robert Baldwin, the Utah Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Thierry Fisher, and the Utah Opera are scheduled to the delight of all attendees. In addition, the conference includes sessions from notable conductors Rei Hotoda and Jerry Steichen, and performances by guest collegiate orchestras from Cornell University and the Montana State University.
