Biography

A highly experienced music educator and educational leader, Todd Campbell has performed, taught, and directed music for over thirty years both privately and in public schools. He has experience teaching junior high, high school, and college level ensembles at Brigham Young University, Woods Cross High School, South Davis Junior High, and Mueller Park Junior High. Todd has also served as President and Jazz Vice President for the Utah Music Educators Association, adjudicated jazz festivals and given clinics at the regional and state levels, and been invited to present at professional workshops including the NAfME Leadership Conference, Utah Band Masters, the Jazz Teacher Immersion Workshop, the Jazz Education Network Conference, and the trade Secrets Conference (many of which he organized). In addition to teaching private lessons, Todd currently directs two concert bands, percussion four jazz ensembles, and multiple combos, and percussion ensemble. He has also mentored over fifteen student teachers from several universities in the state of Utah. For Todd, the most important thing is for his students learn how to be better human beings through music. Todd earned his Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Education degrees at the University of Utah.
