My teaching philosophy is grounded in individuality— I believe that everyone who chooses to study music has something unique to say. It is my role as an educator to facilitate and motivate each pupil in developing a formidable technique, understanding the theory behind a musical composition, and striving for proficiency on the instrument and in performance. So many have said that genius is diligence, and I am of the opinion that anyone, with the support of a passionate teacher, can be a great pianist if they are dedicated to practicing.
