 The University of Utah will sponsor and host the first annual Western Regional Concert Band Festival on March 4, 2017 at The University of Utah School of Music in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are excited that this event is an affiliate of the Music for All Festival, presented by Yamaha. Scott Hagen, Director of Bands at the University of Utah, John Miller, retired band director from American Fork High School and Myroslava Hagen will serve as the local site coordinators and managers.

In addition to working with the clinicians, your students will also have Master Classes/Sectionals with specialist teachers who will provide valuable information for your students

The featured performing group of the Concert Band Festival will be the University of Utah Wind Ensemble, including a side by side of selected students from each ensemble. Students will be nominated by their director.

The Concert Band Festival fee will be $500 for the first band registered from a school, and then an additional $250 for each additional band from the school.

Complete instructions including bus parking, meals, registration area, final schedule, etc. will be sent to you by February 1, 2017.
