Centennial Celebration Concert

Join us Saturday, April 12, 2014, for the Grand Centennial Celebration Concert, featuring a presentation by University of Utah President David Pershing, and a concert featuring current students, distinguished alumni, and faculty. This free concert will begin at 7:30 pm in Libby Gardner Concert Hall. CURRENTLY SOLD OUT!

Commencement Concert

A Century of Piano at the U celebrations opened with a concert hosted by President David Pershing and Dean Raymond Tymas-Jones on April 3, 2013 at Steinway Hall in New York City, featuring alumni Whitney Pizza, Mike Stewart, and Karén Hakobyan.

Home Concerts

Held throughout the year in private homes, community members invite their friends, neighbors, and business associates to hear music performed by the talented piano students of the University of Utah. Special Events 

2014 brought street pianos from the “Play Me, I’m Yours” project to campus for students to play. The brainchild of British artist Luke Jerram, the project has installed 500 pianos in 25 cities around the world since 2008, giving the public the chance to express their own creativity. Read article.
