Community
The newly formed, volunteer-led University of Utah Friends of Opera raises community awareness and financial support for the School of Music’s talented, dedicated young opera students and assists the U’s opera program in moving to the next level of excellence.
Nearly 100% of every tax-deductible donation Friends of Opera receives furthers its mission to provide:
- Support for opera productions;
- Scholarships for talented opera students;
- Special opportunities for vocal students, such as guest artists and vocal competitions;
- Publicity to increase audience attendance at opera productions
